Your job as a network marketer with great leadership skills is to target the right people for your business opportunity, people who recognise a great opportunity and are able to follow the system and not complicate things.
The fact is, although some people have the charisma to pull in several leads a week, what works for businesses and teams across the board is having a system set up and able to run itself as we are not all natural born sales persons.
So, if you want to succeed as a network marketer and emerge as a leader in your field, focus your attention on how you can create opportunities not sales pitches when it comes to building a team. Afterall, your job as an effective leader is duplication and not complication.
What works in effective recruiting is presenting your opportunity before the right people in a way that can be successfully duplicated again and again by these same people who’ll become part of your team.
The sooner you realise that your prospects are looking for the benefits to themselves prior to joining an opportunity and not another ‘Opportunity’ that requires them to talk to friends, family, neighbours and strangers, the better off you’ll be.
Therefore, the next time you find yourself explaining, coaxing or doing anything other than showing the opportunity to a prospect, stop talking and just present the opportunity. If they know, like and trust you; if the system is set up right and you focus on creating opportunities not sale pitches, you’ll soon build a team of ‘Superstar’ prospects who’ll duplicate the system over and over again. 😀
